Dr. Rocky Dhaliwal

Dr. Dhaliwal graduated from UC Davis in 1990. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Genetics, Psychology & Economics. In 1994 Dr. Dhaliwal graduated from Tufts University in Boston with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. After graduation, Dr. Dhaliwal completed two externships, the first one at New Hampshire Hospital in Concord, NH & the second in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery at Boston City Hospital in Boston, MA. From 1994 to 1997, Dr. Dhaliwal was the Chief Resident at Valley Hospital & the VA Hospital in Fresno, where he practiced Oral Surgery, Periodontal Surgery. Endodontia, Prosthodontia, Pediatric Dentistry, Implants & full mouth rehabilitation. Dr. Dhaliwal has also practiced & taught at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry.

Dr. Jesse Dhaliwal

After graduating from dental school in 1999, Dr. Jesse had externships in Cosmetic & Hospital Dentistry at the University of Michigan Dental School & in Restorative Dentistry at UCLA School of Dentistry. Prior to studying at dental school, she was an honors student with a major in biology & chemistry Dr. Jesse has been practicing for over 14 years at her current location. Since she began practicing dentistry, Dr. Jesse has kept up to date on many continuing educational classes, ensuring that her patients receive the most comprehensive & advanced care. She is married with three children & enjoys spending time with her family.

Dr. Michael Lam

Dr. Michael Lam, Physician Anesthesiologist
I am a board-certified physician & anesthesiologist (Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology 1985, recertification 2009) with over 30 years of experience in a wide variety of practice settings. I attended Occidental College in Los Angeles & graduated with a degree in chemistry. I received my medical degree from Tulane Medical School in New Orleans, Louisiana & completed my medical specialty training in anesthesiology at Stanford University Hospital in Palo Alto. Following my anesthesia residency, I joined the clinical faculty of the Stanford resident training program in anesthesia at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center & trained other doctors to become anesthesiologists before joining the Palo Alto Medical Foundation.
With the exception of several years in Southern California where I was recruited to develop anesthesia services for a heart surgery program, I have practiced in the San Francisco Bay Area for years.

Dr. Erika Martinez

Dr. Erika Martinez is a San Francisco native born to Central American parents.

She worked as a dental assistant from the young age of 17 years old in SF’s Mission District, Excelsior District, Redwood City and Alameda County. As an NIH Scholar recipient at San Francisco State University, she presented her research in mRNA Gene Silencing Therapy at SACNAS. Dr Martinez graduated from University of California, Davis with a BS in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in Medical Microbiology and minor in Psychology and obtained her Doctor in Dental Surgery degree from University of California, San Francisco.

While at UCD, she was part of the Dental Society and Spreading Smiles, which provided free dental care in Latin America. In addition, she volunteered for Give a Kid a Smile at UCSF and Give a Special Needs Kid a Smile with University of Pacific at Highland Hospital. She’s also donated her time at free dental/health fairs in Los Angeles with UCLA and in Oakland with UCSF Hispanic Dental Society to help educate in prevention and provide treatment to underserved communities.

Aside from currently working as a DDS throughout the Peninsula/Bay Area, she worked as a California Medicaid dental provider for San Mateo County, San Francisco County, Alameda County and Contra Costa County for 7 years. Dr. Martinez is Board Certified and a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and San Francisco Dental Society. Additionally, she’s an advocate for caries prevention and CAMBRA.

Besides dentistry, she enjoys spending time and building memories with close friends and family, traveling around the globe, arts and crafts, hair and makeup, music, weekend brunches, cooking, learning new recipes, exploring the beautiful California coast and her favorite: long walks on the beach with her lawyer husband and two fur babies; a Pomeranian boy and girl Pitbull.
